Created this stop motion animation. Audio snippets from the new album, Candy Cigarette (March 2009).

A new Boy In Static music video. It was shot by Lew Baldwin (houseofyes.tv) in three different cities. My shoot in New York involved standing motionless like a statue while holding a heavy Les Paul. Also face paint. It was shot with a combination of an old 16mm camera and a digital Canon 5D. Semi stop-motion style. The song is track 1 off Violet.

Last show of the awesome Freezepop & Boy In Static tour. North Star Bar, Philly. Performing a new song called “Tijuana.” Kenji got a fancy new drum unit for this tour. It lights up.

Writing from Streetsboro, Ohio. Boy In Static is on tour with the lovely Freezepop for the next week, playing 8 shows (Dates) in the Northeast/Midwest.

Went out into the New England blizzard with a laptop and mic in a duffel bag. Anita tracking some guest vocals for a new Boy In Static song “Starlet,” about New Jersey cul-de-sac’s and the ice age. Equipped with slight Australian accent and snowball mic.

Picture found on Flickr. During the “slow song” in the Freezepop set at the PAX festival (I played stand-in keyboard/vocoder), everyone held up their handheld console. I spotted a laptop too. Slow motion and surreal. The new millenium lighter.

This weekend, I went to Seattle where I played stand-in keyboard and vocoder for my good friends Freezepop. We played for 2500 people at the PAX festival. Random fan clip of the introduction off youtube. I’m on the right.
